Ryan McMahon likes to say he’s a late bloomer. But with seven solo releases, two acclaimed albums with his folk-rock trio Lion Bear Fox, and nearly two decades of touring under his belt, the singer-songwriter from Ladysmith, British Columbia has more than made up for lost time. His honest, dynamic blend of folk, Americana, and rock has earned him multiple Vancouver Island Music Awards, sync placements in hit television shows, and tour dates with Canadian icons Burton Cummings and Tom Cochrane.

With a voice that carries both the dust of the road and the warmth of a campfire, McMahon delivers songs born from heartbreak, solitude, and unexpected reconnection. Crafted with honesty, delivered with soul, and powered by a voice that’s balanced on that razor’s edge where Americana meets rock, McMahon’s music is raw, heartfelt and deeply human.

JUNO-nominated Suzie Ungerleider, (formerly Oh Susanna), invites you into her world with her captivating clear voice, poetic lyricism, mesmerizing melodies. On her latest album Among the Evergreens, a collection of songs written in her hometown of Vancouver, Suzie tells real life tales from teenage-hood to motherhood. “It’s about being like a tree with all those rings around you, the layers of your life telling you who you are and where you’ve been.”

Upon its release last June, Among the Evergreens was featured by Uncut Magazine as their Americana Album of the Month. Mojo’s four-star review glowed that these 10 new songs “are about as sweet as folk-Americana comes.” Most recently, the album earned Suzie a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for English Songwriter of the Year. It is no wonder that Crack magazine proclaims Suzie Ungerleider “an artist at the top of her game.”
